The color book on love and lies was very thoughtful. I believe there are two words describing 'human affection' which are thought to be the same thing but which I believe are somewhat different. LIKING and LOVING
LIKING is a most pleasant positive feeling and emotion which seems to accompany things, places, activities, and even people that we LIKE. I believe small children may begin to learn the feelings and emotions attached to human love and affection, that they learn to have and feel and express for about and towards other people, they begin to learn about love by first experiencing LIKING. Liking is a most peasant positive feeling, which when attached to a relationship, is also sociably enjoyable. I think children learn to LIKE before they learn to LOVE. UNLOVED children face a world of confusion having to discover what real love is, solely by personal experience of trial and error. Primary caregivers who do not know how to love their children with healthy human affection, leave their children basically 'on their own'. Relationships which start out on friendly terms, often end on unfriendly terms, because both parties 'don't know how to love'! I am very interested in
pursuing more understanding about the human feeling, emotion, and behavior of LIKING. Am a trained christian counsellor, and self-taught student of human emotions and human behavior, and enthusiastic amateur writer. I pursue understanding from a christian perspective, but am not a fundamentalist, nor a sectarian believer. Am also a survivor of an abusive childhood, and much abusive behavior from very bad christians in the church, whose misguided behavior was a scandalous counter-sign to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to the source of the purest love of all, God the father. Any higher power who cannot bear to leave people alone to whatever life they choose for themselves is not worth our thought and attention.
When you love someone, you do not make rules or commandments for them. Neither do you make it obligatory for them to pay attention to you. You do not frighten or blackmail them with imaginary consequences for not paying attention to your needs.You do not impose your idea of what is good on them. You simply allow them to choose what they want, even if those choices aren't what you will opt for. You allow them to be all they choose to be. A large part of the wisdom people have,is the result of the freedom they have had to make their own mistakes. We only become more,after we have experienced what is less! True love is freedom!

It's really interesting for me as what it has filled in me nobody can do it. I was really exited to read it.My brother always beats me and when I tell it to my mom I mother instead scolds me and I think it is because of that he is smaller than me. I always think of when my mom get off to market alone and we two are alone at home and I start beating him.But now I will always make him understand with love because now I have understand the true meaning of love due to reading this. Love is the spirit which can make an evil a friend also. From now onwards I will never repeat my faults again and never tell a lie to any one even if it is very important to save my life.My very thanks to this book.

the message of the picture book is nice,its definitely true. Once again we are all reminded about of what is the one thing lacking on earth, its the true and heavenly love. God permits everyone to exist because He LOVE's us, even though we always commit mistakes He's always ready to forgive, as the bible says: CHARITY, suffereth long,is kind envieth not, vuanteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not brhave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, not easily provoked and thinketh no evil. (1 cor 13:4 & 5) So i say "we come to love not to seek a perfect person, but to see an imperfect person perfectly", if we cant love the person instantly or the love we have is fading because of what we see in him/her or what he/she did to us; lets just remember to give them a chance and help them improve themselves not just because we are oblige to do so but as God want's us to make a little heaven hear on earth. at home is the right place where we can star & find true love & not just love a heavenly love,with that love we'll find peace.

i am an illustrator. this little book says a lot of things that i have tried to say, but it says them in a very direct way. i am in awe, and am thinking how these concepts might be expounded.

o.k. we purples may make some mistakes but others are much much worse.
they are ter-ror-rists. thank heavens for the fog of war! otherwise we couldn't interogate them and their infected children legally after we turn their villages into jello. just remember we are the good guys- it could be worse! they could be doing the same things to us. and believe me they wouldn't stop at waterboarding. they would force us to legislate morality! and make us wear hats!
